Chinese Festival ,like the Christmas Day in western countries

First I will introduce meself.
I was born in the middle of China,which called HeNan province.
My hometown is a small village,the people in our village make a living by farmland
I mean there is no industry there ,only peasant .So the young man are all go to other 
big cityes to make a living,include me.
I found a job  when I  graduated from school.My first job is in ZhongShan City,GuangDong Province, in the south of china,which is about 2000 kilometer away from my hometown,
Now I am a sales in a  factory,and I sell our  products all over the world,I love my job
but if I can find another good job,I think I will change my job.

The biggest festival in western countries is Christmas Day,but in China,it is
Spring Festival,this year ,chinese Spring Festival will come soon on 2011-February-3th.
Because 2011-Feb-3th is Jan 1st on the Chinese lunar calendar.

I need to explain Chinese lunar calendar:
Chinese lunar calendar is not exclusive to  China, but followed by many other Asian cultures. It is often referred to as the Chinese calendar because it was first perfected by the Chinese around 500 BCE .  In most of EAST ASIA today, the Gregorian calendar is used for day-to-day activities, but the Chinese calendar is still used for marking traditional East Asian holidays such as the Chinese New Year (the Spring Festival ), the Duan Wu festival, and the Mid-Autumn Festival, and in astrology, such as choosing the most auspicious date for a wedding or the opening of a building. Because each month follows one cycle of the moon, it is also used to determine the phases of the moon
 
For example,it is Chinese calendar (January-1st,the spring festival) on 2011-Feb-3rd,but it is will be not 2012-Feb-3rd in our spring festival.
we will celebrate all night on the last night of the passed year(2011-Feb-2th),we call it ChuXi(New year's Eve)

The same as your western countries will celebrate all night on Dec-42,but you call it
Christmas Eve

Everyone will go back home from diffenent city and get together to celebrate the biggest festival .
